My name is Meg Roberts and I’m thankful you’ve stumbled across my website, Staying on Track. Through this blog, I hope to investigate the intersection of the communications industry (encompassing public relations, marketing, advertising, and social media) and life (specifically as it relates to my passions, which include health, fitness, running, fashion, and pop culture). This site is also integral in ensuring I stay on track with my own goals and aspirations, whether they be professional, personal, or trivial.
I currently live in St. Petersburg, FL. I am the social media marketing manager at HSN, and the opinions represented on this blog in no way reflect those of my employer. Prior to relocating to St. Pete, I lived in Washington, D.C. for almost 5 years.
I attended the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) where I received a B.A. in mass communication with a concentration on public relations.
Feel free to contact me at via email or connect with me on twitter: @megmroberts. You can also view my professional portfolio online.

Hey Meg!
Couldn’t find a way to email you, but I just wanted to let you know that PR Interactive is on the top 50 list at Thrilling Blog Search. TBS is a new open community search tool I’ve started that returns really awesome results from 50+ of the web’s most awesome blogs. You can use it to help make your blogging workflow more productive by adding a search widget to your iGoogle homepage, or you can share the search engine with your users on your own site! If you’re interested, you can read more at: http://www.thrillingheroics.com/2008/07/announcing-an-awesome-new-community-search-tool-for-the-blogosphere.html
This is a community tool, so I could really use help promoting it to the blogosphere. Anyone can help out by using the custom search engine for themselves, blogging about it, or by contributing suggested sites.
Get in touch, and let me know if there’s anything I can do to improve. Thanks!

Hello there!
I’m a first year college student doing a report on 9/11 for a class, and I came across your blog when I was doing my research for it. Would it be okay if I used your blog entry in my report to show the actual POV of a young student at that time?
I’d really want to use your blog, but only if you’d allow me to.
I’ll be waiting for your reply. I can even give you a copy of my report if you’re interested.
P.S.
Your very intelligent blogs have been inspiring me to start one of my own. Keep up the good work!
Hi Meg,
I’m a PR/Communications, Social Media, and sports junkie, we moved here recently from Florida and I love DC = lots of commonalities there. Came across your blog and enjoyed the most recent post – would’ve loved to run the Army Ten-miler.
See you in and around DC.
